Whether you are a preteen, teen or young adult, a lot of changes and challenges may be coming your way that you may not fully understand. You might be in a stage in your life where you feel confused and are trying your best to grow into the person you want to be. Perhaps you need help understanding how to better cope with your stress and anxiety when it comes to certain stressful situations and/or life transitions. Perhaps you need support in exploring your cultural identity or sense of self. It is important that you feel listened to and validated especially when you are navigating through life's challenges.
I graduated with my Masters in Counseling in 2017 from Loyola University of Maryland. My education especially prepared me to understand cultural and diversity issues and how this plays a role in mental health. Since graduation, I have worked with young adults and adolescents struggling with anxiety/social anxiety, depression, trauma, and cultural issues. Additionally, I provide counseling to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
