Every individual has the inherent ability to chart their path forward; often, all it takes is a little guidance and support to unlock that potential. My approach is a dynamic blend of therapeutic techniques, grounded in a client-centered, strengths-based framework. I draw from a variety of therapeutic traditions, including Freudian psychotherapy, Gestalt theory, and narrative therapy, while incorporating tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help you navigate life's challenges and achieve your personal goals.
In our work together, my primary focus is on truly listening to your story and partnering with you to find personalized solutions. I provide a safe, non-judgmental space that encourages open, honest dialogue, allowing you to address both simple and complex issues in a supportive and compassionate environment. Whether you're overcoming trauma, managing anxiety, processing grief, or navigating overwhelming emotions, my goal is to help you gain clarity and regain a sense of agency in your life. Together, we will work to strengthen your resilience, enabling you to pursue what matters most and move forward with confidence.
I have had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages, from children and teens to adults and older adults. My specialties include supporting individuals and couples through relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and sexual identity. I also have extensive experience working with civil servants, including law enforcement, military personnel, and members of the aviation community, helping them manage the unique stressors associated with these high-pressure fields. Additionally, as a registered dietitian, I have specialized experience in supporting behavior change for body dysmorphia and disordered eating.
I hold a Master's in Nutrition from New York University and a Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University. I am here to help you navigate your challenges and find practical, empowering solutions that align with your goals.
