Do you need help processing your past so you can thrive now and into the future? Perhaps you would like to break negative behaviors or thought patterns that affect your self-esteem or hinder your relationships with others. Do you have difficulty dealing with change, grief, or the stress of daily life? Our work together can help you overcome negativity, anxiety, and loss. This will enable you to find more pleasure and purpose in life, allowing you to flourish and build healthy connections with those around you.
I have gained critical experience working with clients in outpatient therapy, refugee resettlement, crisis hotlines, and social skills training groups. I make sure to tailor each treatment plan to the individual by utilizing a variety of techniques including psycho-dynamic, client-centered, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment therapy, trauma-informed, and emotionally-focused approaches.
My warm, non-judgmental presence, skillful insights, and authentic use of humor have allowed me to build strong trust with my clients. I believe that the self-awareness gained by talking together is the critical factor that inspires change and is what makes therapy so valuable. I look forward to embarking on this journey with you!
