The human being is both vastly and deeply profound. To arrive at the fullness of who we are, we must first accept what happened to us. My approach to therapy is rooted in learning about you through a lens of curiosity and positive regard.
As a holistic psychotherapist, my greatest joy is watching my clients reach their fullest potential and restore their vitality — a life force, drive, and spark that may have gone missing some time ago. My role is to hold space for you to journey into the deepest and truest parts of yourself.
My interdisciplinary training offers a unique approach that harmonizes evidence-based models with traditional interpretations of the human psyche. This holistic approach helps me help you achieve your therapeutic goals through sustainable, efficient, and authentic routes.
I am trained in a particular variety of interventions that are employed when appropriate:
- CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
- IFS (Internal Family Systems Model)
- ACT (Acceptance Commitment Therapy)
- ISTDP (Intensive Short Term Dynamic Psychotherapy)
- TIIP (Traditional Islamically Integrated Psychotherapy)
- CTCP (Chinese Taoist Cognitive Psychotherapy)
- Biblio-Poetic Psychotherapy
Outside of therapy, I enjoy translating poetry, writing, being around nature, traveling the world, and playing volleyball.
